Summary
As a designer, its nice to step away from work-related projects every now and again to explore an idea without any constraints but my own creativity. My day-to-day work is mainly limited to automotive projects designed for web. But as I trained for a sprint triathlon recently, I began using Nike’s NTC and Under Armor’s MapMyRide almost daily. Both apps are great in their own right, but I felt inspired to try my hand at designing my own version of a workout app.
TRAINR is a mobile concept designed from research to prototype, created in the process by which I approach product design. Each section below documents the steps I take to design a product from beginning to end, from idea to final design specs.
